Professional Article Blog - CGI

Computer generated images, or CGI, is just what it sounds like. It's the use of visual effects in TV and film to create illusions of things that aren't actually there, such as monsters and explosions. Basically any action or adventure movie you see in this day in age will have some sort of computer generated image in it, because of its widespread accumulation among film studios.

I thought this article, while short, was an interstice run down on what CGI actually is and what it's used for. If you want to learn about CGI but don't want to have to sit through a long article, you should read this: CGI Article
