The Plausible Impossible

The plausible impossible is a term used by Disney uses to describe an animation technique where characters or objects do things that are impossible in real life, but are in theory plausible. For this I used a Mickey Mouse animation following the story of Alice in Wonderland.

Through The Mirror

A person or animal can't physically phase through a mirror, but because of the plausible impossible, Mickey can go through it. Although it's impossible, as a mirror is glass, it's plausible because you see yourself and the area around you in the mirror, leading one to believe that there could be a whole other world.

Shuffling Cards

Although someone couldn't actually be shuffled in a deck of cards, given that people (or mice) aren't that small nor are they flat. Cards also aren't alive, and don't have arms or legs. However, people can shuffle a deck of cards, and in this regard, it seems as though they would be able to shuffle a flat character within the cards.

Needle Sword

Mickey uses a needle as a sword because of how small he is, and he uses it to fight the King of Hearts. Although it's impossible to be that small, if we were that small, we could use a needle as a sword.

Living Inanimate Objects

Although the common objects of our world aren't living, the animation in the mirrored world shows us that the objects cane given human and animal features to make them interact with Mickey in his adventure.

Ink Pen Used As Cannon

Mickey uses an ink pen as a gun or cannon, blasting away the cards as they chased after him. Because ink pens do actually emit into write, we could infer that this could be possible in a fantasy world.
