I recently found an article about the making of different Marvel Cinematic movies, the article mainly talking about the visual effects, which have a lot more to do with animation than I had once thought.
To start out, the article mainly talks about the CGI used to create moving things, such as the Hulk or Iron Man, which have to be as realistic as possible and make the viewer feel as if these effects were actually real. The animators have to use motion capture to take the motion of an actor and add computer generated effects around them, giving them lifelike features such as facial movements and other body movements. CGI is also used for crazy stunts that are impossible for an actual acorn to pull off.
I just think it's really interesting how they do this, and it really shows you how far technology has come in recent years. I also really like this article because... well... it's Marvel.
