Animation Logo

     My logo symbolizes my interest in animation and art. I tried to make my name simple black and white to symbolize the simple animations that I make. The face with the sunglasses made out of the B and L symbolizes my creativity and humor. The circles are a sign of a colorful imagination and the colors and values that I use in my animations. The difference in value and gradient show that I can take on any style of art.

     It did take some steps and drafts to get this though. I had a lot of sketches, then I actually made some logos in illustrator.
     Logo 1:
This was more of a test than a real logo. I mean, I was just messing around with gradients and pathfinder and I made this. Just a test.










     Logo 2:
This was my second logo. It's a little... character... that I created. The B on his head symbolizes... well, Blake. The rest isn't really related to anything about me.










Logo 3:

This is just the second one with gradients. That's it.











Logo 4, Final Logo:


This was my final draft. The description is at the beginning of the page.

    This logo is very well done! I love how your name is also made into a face. I must say, I prefer your final outcome than the work in progress ones. I hope your animation career goes well and I hope to see you in animation class! (I love animation as well~)

    Hey Blake, your grayscale "test" really "looks" like an eye. Not sure if you meant to do that but I think fits nicely with your interest in developing characters. Might want ot revisit the super simple.
